I recently purchased this item. The description on the box says this glass can be used for hot beverages. Is is safe to use the glass to heat a beverages in a microwave?

No it does not go in the microwave but if you boil water or pour hot coffee inside, it will keep the temperature of the beverage intact longer. Have a nice day!
