Rated 4 out of 5 by from The good and the not so good Bought this last week and for me and my husband, it is the perfect size. Heats quickly, takes up very little counter space and is mostly everything it is advertised to be. The only problem I have with this is that it does not have temperatures written on the button to preheat. This would have made this product absolutely perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I bought mine a week ago and I love it. I live alone and was looking for something to make a single serving of fries or crispy chicken and it is the perfect size. The only thing I have tried so far are the fries and they are delicious. The other feature that I like is The fryer is so compact and easy to store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little fryer a few things to fix Just bought this for our teenage son who loves to cook. This solves the mess of deep frying in a pot, and reduces the over heat risk. We love the magnetic plug, great safety feature. The window is also great. The little side handles are nice as is the removable lit. The basket is prefect and the little rim holder is great to let the food drain a little before being plated. 2 minor concerns. The temp dial should have temps indicated. Took trial and error, and a separate deep fry thermometer to find the right temps. Looks like full blast is 190, while pointed at the light is about 170, and the end of the long strip is 160. Second is the pour spout is helpful, but a removable (for cleaning) cooking reservoir would be ideal. Easier to reclaim cooled oil, less mess on the unit, easier to clean and dry. Size really is for 1 or 2 people. Did wings for 4 people and were limited to about 8 wings at a time. Purchased at CT on a 50% off promo. Well worth the discounted price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly good I am replacing one that I had for several years. It died, but was my fault. Haven’t used this one yet Like the size. Don’t like the magnetic cord. Find it hard to make a connection

Can an extension cord be used safely with this appliance

Asked by: Shadow22
Good day, This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plugis intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this feature or modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm, do not use that outlet. AN EXTENSION CORD MAY BE USED IF CARE IS EXERCISED IN THEIR USE: - Minimize the risk of overheating by using the shortest UL or ETL listed cord possible. - The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product. - Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one appliance. - Arrange the longer cord so that it will not drape over a countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children). DO NOT alter the plug. DO NOT attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. Thank you and have a good day!

How do I get the « inner frying tank » out of the unit in order to wash it « in warm soapy water » as described on page 5 of the manual? I’ve tried various methods but haven’t been successful. Thanks.

Asked by: Héritage
Good day, The tank cannot be removed. You may simply add your water with dish soap inside and carefully poor it out when done washing. Thank you and have a nice day.

There isn't a temperature guide in numbers on the fryer how do I tell What temperature I am cooking at?

Asked by: Rosemarie S
Good day Thank you for your comment. If we would divide the temperature setting knob in 10, this would be the corresponding temperatures : maximum setting (10) = 375F / 9 = 338F / 7 = 302F. We hope this helps. Have a good day!

How do i know temperature setting-170?

Asked by: Snoo
Good day, The best way to do this is to use a thermometer and put the probe in the oil. Our unit does not have specific measurements, the most important is to measure the cooking time. Most foods require a different high temperature and time for each type of food. So in conclusion, we know that our unit has a temperature of 400F (204 C), the positioning that you should put on the dial and to have a temperature of about 170C, should be parallel to the counter (about halfway) Thank you
