Well we had this for about 4 months and we certainly didn't use it everyday but then suddenly it just stopped working. We changed the battery and no luck. So the main thing I want to say is that there is a one year warranty on it and we were not smart enough to keep the receipt. Then I thought to heck with it and put it in the glass recycling at our depot...now I wish I had just written to customer service because Starfrit has good products and is known for their customer service so I might have been able to figure it out with them.

Horrible and Unreliable
The scale does not work. It is unreliable and will give a different reading each and every time.
When you move the scale to a different spot, your weight will change by up to 6 lbs!!!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY . I regret purchasing this useless product.

Waste of money
It is so unreliable. It gives a complete different reading every-time . I bought it in May 2020, but never really used it, it was still in box till last month. Now I started using it and realized it doesn’t even give me correct weight. It gives a different reading if we put it on a different spot. Just wasted my money, still have the receipt.

Uncertain Reading
This scale seems to be off by about 2 pounds, measured against an extremely accurate adjustable mechanical balance. Knowing this, the weight can be mentally discounted for a more accurate reading. but it would be nice if the scale could be adjusted when it measures inaccurately.

Its accurate!
This is the first scale that I have owned in years. I have had many scales in the past and they always seem to be off, or end up off after a bit of use. I bought this scale roughly 6 months ago and it has maintained a steady reading. It's low enough profile it fits nicely below my bathroom cabinet, its lightweight making it easy to pull out and put back, and as I said its accurate!

Our electronic scale fit has worked for two years..now I step on it and nothing happens. Tried changing battery ($6.99 cnd) and still nothing. When I insert new battery I get "00:00" and then it goes off. No matter how long I stand on it nothing shows up?

The scale now has an Err message when it is stepped on...battery has been replaced but still there. Is there a reset or reboot technique which can be used to get the scale working again. I only weigh 175 lbs

I bought this scale from Canadian Tire yesterday. It just doesn't function properly. It keeps giving me a different weight (off by 3 lbs) within seconds, whenever I move the scale or shift my feet to a different spot. This isn't accurate.
I think the scale was produced for decorative purposes as it clearly does not work as a scale.

How do you replace the battery ? Don't know the trick ? Looks simple . But it won't come out ?

It gives the following steps: 1) Open battery case cover on the back of scale, 2) Take out the used battery with the help of a sharp object, 3) Install new battery by putting one side of the battery beneath the battery compartment and then pressing down the other side.
