CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Before using your new cookware, wash thoroughly in hot soapy water using a soft cloth or sponge. Dry completely.
  • For better non-stick performance, it is recommended to add a teaspoon of cooking oil prior to each use.
  • Never heat an empty utensil. Be sure there is oil, butter, liquid or food before placing the
cookware on the range or burner.
  • Always use low to medium heat setting. This cookware should NEVER be used on a maximum heat setting either for
pre-heating or cooking as excessive surface temperatures can cause permanent damage to the non-stick surface.
  • Never cut anything in the cookware or use utensils with sharp edges as to avoid piercing the non-stick
surface.
  • Add salt to water only after it has come to a boil. Salt grain deposit on the cookware bottom will attack the
metal as the heat melts it down.
  • Never use metal scouring pads to clean the non-stick surface.
  • Never put cold water into a hot utensil. Let cookware cool down on its own or place in lukewarm soapy water.
  • If using a ceramic stovetop, lift the pan rather than sliding it across the glass plate.
  • This cookware is oven safe up to 450 °F / 230 °C. Always use gloves or oven mitts when using as the handle may
become hot.
  • Dishwasher safe. Take note that the shine of the coating may become dull and discolored due to the action of certain
detergents. Our warranty does not cover this type of wear, as the performance of the cookware is not affected.

READ CARE AND USE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR NEW COOKWARE. Our The Rock cookware are covered by a 3-year warranty on the non-stick coating and a lifetime (25 years) warranty against warping, with proof of purchase only. Warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years, STARTING FROM THE DATE OF THE
ORIGINAL PURCHASE AND WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE.
The owner must follow care and use instructions for this warranty to apply. This warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect use, professional use or if the utensil is banged or dropped.
Normal wear of the non-stick coating does not affect the performance of the product thanks to the Rock Tec permanent textured surface and thus, is not covered by this warranty. Stains, discoloration and minor scratches on the inside and the outside of the utensil constitute normal use, do not affect performande and are not covered by this warranty. Exterior paint is strictly cosmetic and does not affect the performance of the product thus, is not covered by our warranty.
Any complaints / claim must be registered within the warranty period, with proof of purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 or 3 years old and still going strong First, let me say I enjoy this pan so much that I decided to leave a review on Starfrit's website. I feel like a lunatic, but really this is the best non-stick pan I have ever owned. I've had it for 2 or 3 years and it still does eggs like a champ. Even manages to provide decently even heat with my warped old electric elements. I always discounted these pans as gimmicky trash because of their infomercial advertising. After using one in a rented house, a pan that had clearly had the tar beaten out of it, and still finding it to perform well, I bought one. Don't be fooled by their terrible advertising practices, these things really are the cream of the cream!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice frying pan when new. Every looks/ sounds good about "The Rock" series, and while it performs wonderfully well under perfect circumstances, if it gets a bit overheated stuff does burn into the tiny holes designed to make it non-stick, creating a mark which is less non stick than the rest of the pan. And trying to remove this scored mark can result in scratching the "rock" hard surface. Don't get me wrong, I love these pans, bought 2 more. But they aren't as durable as rock.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can any one tell me why I have my set since April 2017 and the bottom of my set is coming offf don’t get me wrong I love cooking with them but for the amount I paid for them I don’t know why it’s coming off

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best pan ever! I had my "The Rock" pan for over a year now and I have used it every day to make fried fish to chill pepper sauce and every time foods come out nice and never stick to the pan. Even cooking eggs sunny sided up is very easy with the rock as the egg does not stick. I use to have regular pans that when you had to cook you ended up fighting with the food to cook it just right and then it would stick. This changed when I got my first Rock after my friend told me what successes he had with his pan. I love it and I recently bought two new Rock products, a deep fry pan and small pan. I would recommend the Rock to any one I know and to anyone that would ask me about my Rock pans that I have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Quality I bought The Rock 10" frying pan because it was 70% off, thinking it was being discontinued. I liked the fact that it had deep sides and I wanted to use it for more than just frying foods. When I got it home I realized I wanted more so I immediately went out and bought the entire set. The "Rock" coating was easy to clean and nothing, I mean nothing stuck to it. The weight of the product is misleading. The pans are of high quality but not so heavy that they become cumbersome on my stove. I love making one meal dishes and I know can leave the pan on the stove to simmer all day because the heat is distributed evenly. I've had my set (and I have added additional pieces) for awhile and they still look brand new. Every time I go to wash one of these pans, I tell my husband, "I love these frying pans!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I bought this before Christmas while looking for a new frying pan. I gave it a try and I am so glad I did! This is the best Fry Pan ever! I am a 'turn on high' cook and with this product you really do not need to cook on high as they say. This heats up quickly and evenly. Its nonstick properties are also amazing, seen when cooked the best easy over eggs! I am truly amazed at this products efficiency. I have since purchased the smaller Fry Pan and am planning on purchasing the whole set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a B+ Bought as a replacement for another similar size fry pan. The design of the product, i.e. the patented ROCKTEC surface enhancement. I was displeased with the last pan and it's pealing non stick layer partially because of the potential of ingesting the layer but more because the pan will lose its non-stick capability. This pan has no layer therefore no need to worry about ingesting or loosing non-stick ability. As for usability, the utensil heats up fast and evenly. It's just the right size to cook a small breakfast or a grilled sandwich. It cleans up easily and is easy to store. Overall a good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pan Ever Bought I needed a new frying pan set so i went to my local wal-mart seen the new rock series pans and once i brought them home to use i instantly fell in love with how non stick and tough durable surface. Its the first frying pan i had where i could use a whisk and fork on it without scratching it. It will scratch over time but it would take so hard of an abuse to scratch it. I do have one scratch on the pan but that was my fault i used metal tongs and scraped to hard. overall best pan for the price.

Will the handle on my new 10” frypan “survive” under the broiler in my stove? I want to be able to finish omlettes under the broiler. Thanks

Asked by: PapaKen
Good day, Thi pan should not be put in an oven that is at a higher temperature than 350F. Therefore, this pan should not be putunder the broiler. Not only will the handle not resist but it will affect the non-stick coating of your pan. Thank you and have a good day

Hi. Are Heritage (The Rock) frying pans safe to use on a BBQ?

Asked by: MellyB
Good day, Just like it is safe to use on a gaz stove you could use it in a fire. I would simply not recommend to put it directly in the fire but more on a grill over a griddle. You simply have to make sure to respect the heat maximum which is 450 degres and always cover your coating with butter or oil and your food.
