Pro Mandoline is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The fact the guide is attached along the side. My old mandoline (another company's) fell apart one day and the very next day saw this one advertised. Decided to get one and give it a try. I love the fact that the guide is attached to the base. My only complaint would be that the last little piece never gets sliced--need to use a knife to finish it off but over all this unit, if used as instructed, is the safest one I have found. Good quality for the cost. My old one was twice the cost and did not have near the features of the Pro Mandoline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pro mandeline I bought the Pro Mandeline not too long ago and have used it several times and I absolutely love it and in my opinion is the best mandoline out there because i have tried a couple others and there is no comparison. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY sharp I bought this four days ago. I sliced ginger to ale ginger tea. When the ginger sliced down some was left unsliced because it was held by the teeth of the holder. I made the mistake of holding by hand and slicing it. DO NOT DO THIS!!!. I lost a chunk of my thumb. In future I will slice the remainder of it with a knife. Otherwise, this is a wonderful slicer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good quality and feature Just bought this product quality is very good seems sturdy features are well done and easy to use. I was surprise to see how easy it was to make potato slice or julienne it did not require as much effort as I thought it would also easy to clean. In about 6 months I will do an other review and see if the blades still sharp this will be the final test. So far I love it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good function for home use. I bought this a couple months ago to make zucchini noodles for in Paleo lasagna and it has worked well for our limited purpose. I would say that it would do nearly anything you need a mandoline to do at home if you're using it a couple times a month. I like the glide holder and small hole that has worked out well for me when I've been using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good -- very sharp I recently purchased this mandoline and quality is very good. It is sturdy, easy to use and easy to clean. I have used it twice to cut large quantities of cabbage for coleslaw and didn't take as long as I thought it might.

I hace the starfrit pro and i just catnt flip the part to hide grater to be able to use the slicer ca you help

    Asked by: Monq
Ours was really hard to get released once it was snapped in place. We found that it just takes quite a bit of finger muscle power to get it to unsnap out of the grater position and we were afraid we'd break something at first. It locks into both positions really solidly so try pulling on it a little more aggressively. They're really well made and I don't think you'll break it, just pull really hard. Hope this helps you.
