The Longest lasting Kettle I have used
I don't like post reviews after a recent purchases. I bought this Kettle after several others failed, and I must say when they say "Built to Last' they are not kidding. I purchased my original one in 2018 and we used the Kettle at least 10 times a day and it only died today (June 08, 2022). Because it was such a excellent quality product, I purchased my replacement Heritage Kettle last year. For this Price...you will never get a Kettle that will perform this long.

I’ve been buying Starfrit for over 40 years and this is my first review. I enjoy these products because they adapt to people that are left handed. Your products last a long long time and I just replaced my star fruit can opener after 20 years and that’s huge, I bought this kettle and I am so pleased with it, I’d like the automatic shut off. I even unplug it when not in use , for safety reasons. So once again thank you for making Quality products

Very happy with my purchase
I bought this kettle about a week ago to replace my old one that quit working. I am pleased with this purchase.
I like the way the top opens, it's easy to fill, easy to see the water level and easy to turn on. It looks good too. An added benefit for me is that it is lighter than my previous kettle so is easier on my arthritic hands.
It heats water quickly and it isn't too noisy.
I like it much better than other more expensive kettles.

So far, so good!
We haven't owned this kettle very long, but so far so good! This isn't the highest quality kettle, but it gets the job done. It has auto shut-off, it's easy to fill, and is a cordless kettle. It arrived on time and was reasonably priced. We stayed with the stainless steel kettle, as opposed to glass, because many of the reviews regarding the glass kettles were saying that they break easily. I recommend this item.

Left-handed dilemma
I’ve enjoyed using starfrit for the past 40 years and this is my first review. These products are great for people that are left-handed and when I see your logo, I smile from ear to ear. The kettle is amazing and I love the automatic off switch as well, even though I do unplug it after I use it. Safety first!! Beat Electric Kettle and Value Priced
I bought the kettle for my 91 year old uncle. His old one stopped working and he wanted a simple but good kettle.
My uncle likes the quality in the kettle and it’s simple design. It’s east to use and he can see how much water is in the kettle in the window. He likes to wrap up the cord in the base. He likes that it shuts off when finished boiling and will stop if it’s empty. Well done Starfrit

I bought the kettle in April 2021 and I loved how it functioned. It is convenient with the detached heating base, the filter works well and I like the feel of it. However mid-October the kettle stopped working. When I tied to turn it on the light would flash and the switch turned off immediately. I took it back to the Canadian Tire Store from which I bought it and they replaced it free.

Stylish and modern looking
I needed to replace my old cordless kettle and picked up this one from Starfrit. I like the stylish, modern design and the red light switch. The see through window to check the water level is a common feature on these kettles. My old one had it too. I find this kettle is a lot noisier than my old cordless kettle, but aside from that, it does what it's supposed to do - boil water.

Love this kettle
I bought this almost a year ago and I love this kettle. It has a small removable filter at the spout so it’s easy to clean if it needs it. The cord wraps around the base which is handy for storage and even if you don’t want the entire cord on your counter. I had looked at a glass kettle when purchasing and I’m so glad I got this. I’m sure I would’ve broken the glass one by now.

Sleek and efficient
We purchased this for Christmas to replace an old kettle that had started to leak (yikes!). The design is sleek and looks great on the counter, easy to operate and works quickly and efficiently. The removable screen is very handy when it comes time for cleaning. Very pleased with this product. We also got a great deal on the price, over 50% off at our local Canadian Tire store.

Just what I needed
After boiling water in a saucepan to make tea and forgetting about it so it boiled dry today was the day for a new kettle . This is my first heritage kettle and I dashed home to make tea to try it out ! Very pleased with it’s looks and performance! I use an electric kettle lots during canning season so I look forward to seeing how it does next fall when I need it most

Good Kettle
I just bought this a few days ago because my previous kettle of over 10 years is dead.
I like this kettle for its basic features and it boils my water just fine. No cons to say about it.
Reason for the 4/5 stars is because i only have it for a week and ill wait if it will last me longer than 5 years
So far so go and hopefully it will last me over 10 years!

I bought this to replace a previous cordless kettle that had become intermittent. I wanted something that had an easy to clean interior that was stainless steel and worked quickly. It is also very reasonably priced. The only design issue, though minor, is that the cord is shorter than my last one, and has a restrictive location possible near the plug in.

Light and compact
This is a impressively light cordless kettle. Its compact design fits well on our counter top. It heats the water quickly and with not too much noise. The water refill gauge is easy to read. To refill the water, there is a handy button on the handle to flip open the lid. I like the blue "on" light. Could do with better packaging (light box, no padding).

Excellent easy use Electric Kettle!
I bought this product only 2 days ago and am already overly satisfied with my purchase! It is definitely worth the price as it feels solid and durable. Seems good so far
I have only used the kettle a handful of times and I can say it works exactly as you would expect it would. Easy to use, it's a nice kettle. I like that it has a plug-in base so I can fill the kettle easier. The only thing I noticed right away is the sides of the kettle get pretty hot. Maybe not great for small children but good for me.

Hope the "Long Lasting" mention is correct!!!
I purchased this kettle at Canadian Tire on sale and was pleased that the top lid opens up easily. It has a display for the amount of water in it, which is necessary. I was going to purchase the Black & Decker model which was cheaper, but the "Long Lasting" mention was what sold me. So far, so good.

A great kettle
The Heritage electric kettle is a great kettle. It heats water quickly, and though I have not yet had to use the feature I think it's really cool that the little screen at the spout can be removed for cleaning. Also it looks much nicer on my counter than my old plastic one did.

easy to use!
Works like a charm. Not to loud. We got ours at Canadian Tire. There was a coupon inside stating the $1000 contest was every trimester of 1017/2018. Thats over two years old. I guess you could call that "NOS: New Old Stock". The kettle looks as good as the day it was made.

Great look and great taste!
I bought this a week ago and I didn't know my tea could taste so good. I had an old cheap brand that was old and my tea tastes so much better with my new Kettle. I also wanted a kettle that would look nice on the counter. I am very happy with how it works and looks!

Good but not great product. Nothing to complain about whatsoever, but a few inconveniences like the stainless steel getting hot when water boils and semi-difficult to read how close to the water level is to the 1.7L max capacity using its side indicator scale.

Priority was to find a kettle that was easy to clean. I found it with the Starfrit 1.7L Electric Kettle. I also like the capacity. It's used in a office setting so less time wasted in filling it up. It also matches with our other counter products. Great buy!

Different and Good fFeatures
I bought this kettle last week. Easy to open cover. Doesn't have mehanical cover lock. Just push to close it. So far so good. Other kettles I've used lasted about a year. We'll see how this one fairs out. Hope it lasts because I really like its fuctionality

God kettle
This kettle is convenient to use, about the right size and does not look out of place on the counter. The main problem with this kettle is the viewing window to see the water height in the kettle is in a very poor position and it is very difficult to read.

Looks expensive and works just the same.
I bought this on Saturday due to my other kettle being melted on the stove...my fault.So far it is very nice and very fast to boil. Much better than my other one. My elderly father has no problem using it and said he likes the water viewer on the kettle.

Why does the electric kettle have a filter? Doesn't it just hold water?
The filter is needed to create a small pressure in the kettle when it boils. Steam is then forced into the handle where it trips the shut-off switch. Try it without the filter and see it belch steam for a long time before it shuts down.
