Worked for awhile
I bought this about a year ago and it has worked fine up till today. Now when I push down the lever to toast it won't stay down. Thank goodness I kept my old toaster which still works..

Is it ok to toast slices of long bread?

I bought this toaster a few months ago at Canadian Tire because it was suppose to be "long lasting". About 6 weeks ago all of a sudden the leaver would not stay down. The light comes on when you hold it down, but it won't stay down. I am very disappointed
