EXCELLENT FAN FOOD
The electric hot-dog steamer helped me prepare the best steamed hot-dogs we have ever eaten. The steamed hot-hogs made this year's Super Bowl more enjoyable. We also made some healthy snacks, such as broccoli and corn on the cob. This is a simple product to use. The added bonus is that you are able to reduce the size and store it with ease without taking too much space. I think the others will also be purchasing one for their homes and special events.

Hotdog!!!
I received my Starfrit Electric Hotdog Steamer as a gift. It's probably something I wouldnn't have thought of buying. That being said, I love it and would recommend it to anyone. I especially like it's versatility that it can be used to steam vegies, fish and anything you might see fit to seam. it is very is to use and clean after using. I compacts down for easy storage. Again, I love it.

Works Well
I had trouble locating the alphabet letter to each part (section). I saw the them when asembling the hotdog steamer for storeage They are in the plastic molding. I used a perminet marker to label each section. I did manage to get the hot dog streamer put together. The hotdogs were steamed to purfection and the buns were warm and soft. I also noticed you can steam other foods.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!!
A friend cooked me hotdogs in one of these and I simply had to have one. Soooo happy I bought one. My family, friends and I have hot dog Saturdays now. It has become a family tradition and one we won't forget. It's amazing and makes delicious dogs just like at a ball park, but better.

What a great way to feed a crowd!
I just couldn't be happier with my new Hot Dog Steamer! I can have 12 Hot Dogs ready to feed the crowd in the time that it takes to grill some burgers. And I like the way that it stores all of the components inside the outer case!

Works great and easy to use!
This works great and is easy to use. The hot dogs aren't overcooked because you have a shut off timer. The buns are warmed nicely and a bit of moisture is put back in them which is great when you freeze them like we do.

My husband is from Montreal and he’s always telling me hot great the steamed hot dogs are back home.

Can I steam raw chicken in this?
Good day,
The supplier has confirmed that there is no restriction to cooking raw chicken.
However, you must ensure the cooking time and that the temperature of the chicken is safe at 165 F.
It's best to check with a thermometer to make sure the chicken is cooked through.
The hot dog steamer has a maximum temperature of 99 C or 210 F

can this steamer be used to cook a smoked meat.

How do you clean it? Are the parts dishwasher safe? Can you clean the part that does not come apart? Do you use just dish soap and hot water or is there a special cleaning product to buy?
