State of the art Pressure cooker
I bought my Starfrit pressure cooker a few weeks ago, and i cannot say enough about how wonderful this great product is, the first thing i made was rice, and i can honestly say that
it is the best rice i have ever had in my entire life, and i am in my 70s.
I use to own a stove top pressure but i was always afraid to use it, this beauti is just perfect,
I made my husband his birthday cake and baked it in my Starfrit, It turned out perfect, as did
the Chilli, and roast beef. I read all the reviews about pressure cookers, before ordering, and this Starfrit pressure/Multi cooker had the best reviews, I am so happy with this great cooker that I am going to bu the air fryer next, and then the electric grill after that,

Why did I not buy this sooner?
I purchased this a few months ago, and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. I cook a lot of beans, lentils, peas, and rice, and this pressure cooker is perfectly suited for it. It does extrememly well with soups and chilis as well. It has a variety of settings and is exremely user friendly; the manual is also designed very well. I would highly recommend this as an initial purchase, or if you are looking for a replacement for an instant pot or another pressure cooker.

I just bought the 8.5Q pressure cooker thinking it was also a slow cooker, but I don't see a button or an option for slow cooker. I see the 6Q has a slow cooker button. Please advise.

Can I boil water with the top off and if so how do we I do it?

As per your question, you can boil water with the top on and use the function Sauté. This temperature ranges from 150-155C, which is high enough to boil water. Please take note that this appliance is mainly used to pressurize to reduce cooking time.

When I use my pressure cooker, a lot of steam comes out of the top, and the proper pressure is not reached. As a result, I am unable to cook my food properly. Do you have any suggestions?

Please check if the pressure release valve (Steam Vent) is in correctly positioned (pointing in the middle), that the sealing ring inside the lid is installed properly and in good condition. Once this is confirmed, gently push down the lid before turning on the appliance. If it does not pressurize, the sealing ring may need to be changed.

I keep getting error E4? According to the manual it is the seal but I've checked it multiple times and nothing seems wrong with it. I have only used the cooker 2 times. The manual says contact support, so does that mean your product died within 2 uses?
