USING THE WEBSITE

By using www.starfrit.com website, you expressly accept with no changes the terms and conditions that follow.

 

Atlantic Promotions Inc. reserves the right to revise, change, complete and/or modify these terms and conditions entirely at its discretion, for whatever reason, without having to advise anyone whosoever other than posting them on the www.starfrit.com website.

We suggest you reread this section regularly to note any changes that may occur.

The current website and its contents are the property of Atlantic Promotions Inc. (hereinafter “API”) and was created for your information and personal use.

 

We only ship in Canada and The United States except for these territories and states (Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Alaska, Porto Rico and Hawaii.

 

RETAIL PRICES POSTED

Prices are subject to change without notice; the price you pay is the price indicated at the time you order. Although we are very careful regarding the product information on our website, errors (e.g., price, description, etc.) may occur. API RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CORRECT SUCH ERRORS, WITH NO OBLIGATION TO DELIVER THE MERCHANDISE ACCORDING TO CONDITIONS POSTED BY ERROR.

If such a situation occurs, rest assured that we will correct the incorrect information as soon as possible and contact you if you have already ordered this item.

A maximum of 20 units of the same product is accepted as a web order. For all orders of $500 or more, a customer service agent will contact you to do some verification.

Generally, your order will be processed and ready for delivery within two (2) working days after receipt. This time may vary during peak periods, such as the Holiday rush.

 

PRICES AND PROMOTIONS

Starfrit distributes its products through several retailers in Canada and the United States (and elsewhere in the world), both in-store and online. Prices and promotions offered through our distribution network may vary at any time. Although a retail price is suggested to the distribution network, each distributor is free to offer the product at the price it chooses. In addition, the prices and promotions on the starfrit.com website may differ from those offered in our Longueuil warehouse-store.

Promotions made directly on the starfrit.com website vary in value and time. These promotions are usually announced via newsletters, online advertisements and various social networking platforms, but are not limited to these. It is important to note that when these promotions are in effect, they are in no way retroactive to purchases previously made. A promo code may NOT be applied to products that are already on sale. Furthermore, only one promo code can be applied at a time.

The Atlantic Promotions / Starfrit website does NOT match prices with the Warehouse-Boutique or any of its retailers. Prices on the starfrit.com website include warehousing, handling and order preparation fees, which is different from the Starfrit Warehouse-Boutique (Longueuil) where you pay on site and take the item yourself. 

 

PRODUCT COLORS

Occasionally, a product may be available in different colours. Where possible, a targeted colour will be shipped as indicated on the product page on our site, but it is possible that any of the available colours will be shipped. The product will work fine regardless of colour. There is no need to contact customer service about the colour of a product — they will not be able to exchange it for you.

 

DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER

In general, our deliveries are made by Canada Post (for deliveries in Canada) and UPS (for deliveries in the United States). We have chosen these carriers so that we can serve you as quickly as possible, regardless of the region, province, or state in which you live.

Depending on the delivery address, your order will be delivered within 4 to 7 days of your purchase. In many cases, the delivery time will be even shorter.

However, it may take longer during holiday periods or in the event of circumstances beyond the control of PAI INC, Canada Post or any other party involved in the delivery of your order.

If, however, the package is returned to us by the distributor of a wrong address or other, a customer service agent will reach out to you to validate your information. If there is indeed an error in the information you have entered, you will be responsible for paying the cost of the second shipment.

 

DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery and handling charges for your order are clearly indicated at checkout. We have made arrangements with carriers to minimise these costs for consumers.

 

RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE PURCHASES

To obtain a refund, you must return the product NEW and UNUSED in its original packaging, in its original condition and with all its accessories within 30 days of receipt (the date of receipt is determined according to the carrier's tracking number).

No refund will be given for a product that has been used or that has not been returned within 30 days of receipt.

Refunds will only be issued once the product has been received, inspected and accepted by our customer service department. You are responsible for return shipping costs. A fee of $7.50 + the initial delivery charge will be deducted from the refund.

It is also important to note that the product must be adequately protected for transport during the return to avoid any additional damage that would not be covered by our return and warranty policy.

Procedure for returning merchandise:

You must include in your shipment a copy of the confirmation email you received at the time of online purchase or the packing slip that was in the box at the time of the initial shipment.

Please note that you can also come to our warehouse boutique in Longueuil to return merchandise during business hours. We are open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 4 pm EST and Friday from 8:30 am to 1 pm EST. Please check opening hours on public holidays.

Upon receipt of your package (if you did not contact customer service prior to the return), a customer service representative will reach out to you to find out the reason(s) for the return. Following this call, we will credit you within 2 to 5 business days on the same payment method initially used, the price of the returned item plus the appropriate taxes, less the initial administration and delivery charges.

 

NOTE:

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED $7.50 (ON ONLINE PURCHASES) FOR ALL CANCELLATIONS, MODIFICATIONS, RETURNS BY DELIVERY OR IN PERSON AT THE WAREHOUSE-BOUTIQUE.

INITIAL SHIPPING/HANDLING CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Only the price of the item, including taxes, is refundable.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING COSTS OF THE MERCHANDISE YOU ARE RETURNING.

Atlantic Promotions Inc. cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to merchandise returned by a carrier of your choice. Be sure to use a reputable carrier for your shipment.

PRODUCT EXCHANGE / REPLACEMENT

When a product is deemed defective by our customer service department and the product needs to be replaced, our first choice is always to supply an IDENTICAL product. If this is not possible due to a DISCONTINUED or OUT OF STOCK product, we will replace it with a similar or higher quality product. All at the discretion of our customer service management. 

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment by credit card via the Stripe payment system (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Google, and Apple Pay) or by PayPal are the only methods of payment for online purchases.
