My starfrit 93751 scale seems to be off on its weighing especially volumes. I cup water should be 250ml but I get 218ml and this is with the cup first zerod. Is there a way to calibrate the scale?

Asked by: martvs
Good day, Most scales calibrate themselves when they shut off, as long as they are kept in the same place. But if you picked the scale up or stored it away, you will need to set the scale on a hard, flat surface press the scale awake and wait for the scale display to read 0 before weighing anything. Otherwise, your reading may include not only the weight of the ingredients but also the weight of the scale itself, throwing your measurement off. If you’re still having problem with fluctuating measurements, it is possible that the weighting sensor has been damaged from moving it around or from a defective sensor. If that is the case, it could be covered under warranty under certain conditions. Our scales are covered by a one(1) year warranty, with proof of purchase. For any warranty inquiry or replacement under warranty or to purchase a part for one of our products, please contact us through our easy online form at https://www.starfrit.com/en/contact-us One of our Customer Service Agent will contact you as soon as possible. Thank you and have a good day!
