Best Apple Peeler
I bought my Starfrit Apple Peeler at Walmat Canada in Halifax. It was about $15 CDN.
Le me start with saying that
I bought other way more expensive ones over the yrs and i threw them out because they didnt work to my satisfaction. I dont want to fight and struggle to get some apples peeled.
When i saw the Starfrit Peeler and only about$15 pls i could return it if i was not satisfied.
Because its a Starfrit item i had real hopes it might jut b the cats meow and i was right. Im so happy with this peeler, i truly enjoy peeling apples with it.
It takes only seconds to peel
Im not in any way associated with Starfrit BUT i must say i really like most of thier products, like the can opener i bought about a yr ago and the Swizz Chopper i bough about 6 months ago but i lost the lower tab so i had to go buy and entire swizz chopper. I bought many Starfrit items over the yrs jncluding french fry cutter about 20 yrs ago but gave it to my son 2 yrs ago because he makes Fries all the time.
Im going to make a YouTube video of my
Starfrit item very soon. I some home vids of
me cooking and preping before hand. Im no
pro but u can c my vids if u type in search, box wannodhearn.

We have black mold around the shaft which we cannot access. How would you suggest we remedy this. The rest of the unit came clean in the dishwasher.

I have the same question that peelerjm asked about 8 months ago...We just bought the Apple Peeler and the handle does not "click to lock" as indicated in the instruction manual. Does this mean that mine is defective???

How do you keep the handle from falling off all the time on the green apple peeler. It is very loose.

The handle should not fall so easily. If you push it into place, you should hear a click that will confirm the handle is properly attached. If it keeps falling after you pushed it and heard the click, there might be a deffect or something broken on your product.
