great grill quality and price
i bought this item after my panini grill stopped working , I learned from the old one and I searched for the best with a reasonable price . first I wanted the grill to easily be taken out and washed , wich is the case , in a simple click you can remove the grill from both sides . in addition I wanted the grill to open 180degre in order to use it for grill , barbecue etc ( meat in a side and vegetables in an order . and most important thing is the non stick material wich make it easy to wipe . i was also surprises that there is a different temperature of grilling wich will be perfect if I want to grill sensitive cooking food ( like fish ....)

Un beau cadeau de Noël
Nous avons reçu ce cadeau pour Noël et nous ne sommes pas du tout déçu! Nous avons déjà fait cuire plusieurs grilled cheese ou panini et rien ne reste collé sur la plaque. De plus, le fait qu'il s'ouvre en deux en fera un équipement indispensable pour le camping cet été. Seul point négatif que nous avons trouvé, c'est qu'il n'y a aucun moyen de retenir les plaques fermées lors de la cuisson, il faut toujours maintenir une pression avec les mains.

Best Electric Grill Money Can Buy
I'm a first time buyer, and I was at first skeptical about buying an electric grill, but after reading all the reviews online and on different websites, I decided to go ahead and purchase one.
As soon as I took it out of the box, I knew I made a good decision buying one.
Its of good quality and is also excellent for healthy cooking, with the 2 drip-cups to collected excess fat and liquid.
The best part for me was the removable grills, the ease to clean the grill plates, being able to open it 180-degrees so it sits flat and you can use both grill plates at once, as if you are BBQ'ing, has 6 adjustable temperature control, and the Stainless steel cover makes it easy to clean and also looks nice.
Its an excellent quality product.

Que ce soit pour un petit lunch rapide à midi, collation pour les petits-enfants en fin d'après-midi...ou pour une fringale en soirée, il sert à toutes les sauces !

Great quality, allows for versatile cooking
This grill is great for cooking many different things from chicken to burgers to vegetables and sandwiches. It can be used as a press style grill or as an open flat grill to fit more onto it. It is a compact design making it easy to store. Very straight forward to use. Plug it in and choose your temperature. Really good price and great quality. It even comes with a small scraper making it very easy to clean. The stone material of the grill also makes it easier to clean than any grill I have had before. Nothing seems to stick and washes off easily, it takes no longer to wash than any plate.

Plus utile qu'on pourrait croire
J'ai acheté ce presse panini pour faire des sandwichs mais je l'utilise aussi comme addition à mon poêle à raclette. Vraiment efficace pour griller les viandes. J'adore que les grilles s'enlèvent et vont au lave-vaisselle.

Wonderful gift
Boyfriend wanted us to buy this but I didn’t want to have more gadgets at home. Surprised him with this as a gift. He’s happy and I’m thrilled with it! Easy to use, easy to clean and it made fantastic mini sandwiches (used dinner rolls and made different types for variety). Size is perfect for us and is easily stored. We are sure that it will be used for many purposes and often. Would only suggest that they include guidance with what temperatures control number should be used for cooking various items.

Setting 1 (minimum) = 257 °F / 125 °C
Setting 3 (medium) = 311 °F / 155 °C
Setting 5 = 365 °F / 185 °C
Setting 6 (maximum) = 410 °F / 210 °C
Please note that there could be some variation of +/- 68 °F / 20 °C

My Panini grill is 16 months old and now it wont heat up because the Green(Ready) light always stays on, even when its cold to touch. Was hoping for it to last longer than that. Hopefully Starfrit can send me instructions how to repair it.

I just received my panini grill and on the first use noticed smoke and a pungent smell while warming up to the “3” heat setting. Is this normal?

Further to your email, the PTFE and PFOA used in the fabrication of the non-stick coating are chemically inert. The PTFE is a tender deformable material and is semi crystalline, opaque, white and alimentary. Pure PTFE is FDA (Food and Drug Administration) conforming.
Secondly, it is scientifically proven that PFOA completely evaporates during the “curing process” while the coating is cooking and merging with the material of the cookware. PFOA is eliminated up to the point that it was undetectable during the different migration tests done. This was confirmed by more than one organization:
• USFDA (United States Food and Drug Administration)
• EFSA (European Food and Safety Authority)
• EPA (Environment Protection Agency).

We used our grill for the first time tonight and it stopped working completely? Anybody have this happen to them?
Happened to me tonight, bacon was sizzling and then it just wasn't and now it's dead, only had it less than a month, maybe 10 usages out of it. I had bought 2 of them on sale, 1 for me and 1 for my sister will be calling customer service tomorrow but did not keep receipt cause well I have never had an issue with a starfrit product before and own dozens of their products so really did not thin I'd be needing it.
