One Pot Easy Spaghetti with Balsamic Chicken

Cherry tomatoes, white wine and Asiago cheese are all natural partners for this One Pot Easy Spaghetti recipe inspired by Barilla®. For an authentic Italian taste, use Barilla® Pronto™ half-cut spaghetti


  • 1 box 12 oz (340 g) Barilla® Pronto™ Half-Cut Spaghetti
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 cups (750 ml) cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup (250 ml) mixed mushrooms of your choice, sliced
  • 2½cups (625m ml) water
  • 1½cup (375 ml) white wine
  • 2 cups (500 ml) cooked chicken breast, cut into cubes or strips
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup (125 ml) Asiago cheese, shredded 
  • Fresh basil leaves, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


In your The Rock One PotTM 12,5’’ Skillet, add Barilla® Pronto™ Half-Cut Spaghetti, onion, garlic, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, water and wine. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, stir and simmer, covered, for 7 minutes, stirring regularly until pasta is al dente. Add chicken and Balsamic vinegar; cook an additional 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Fold in cheese and sprinkle with basil. Adjust seasoning. Serve immediately.
