Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 or 3 years old and still going strong First, let me say I enjoy this pan so much that I decided to leave a review on Starfrit's website. I feel like a lunatic, but really this is the best non-stick pan I have ever owned. I've had it for 2 or 3 years and it still does eggs like a champ. Even manages to provide decently even heat with my warped old electric elements. I always discounted these pans as gimmicky trash because of their infomercial advertising. After using one in a rented house, a pan that had clearly had the tar beaten out of it, and still finding it to perform well, I bought one. Don't be fooled by their terrible advertising practices, these things really are the cream of the cream!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice frying pan when new. Every looks/ sounds good about "The Rock" series, and while it performs wonderfully well under perfect circumstances, if it gets a bit overheated stuff does burn into the tiny holes designed to make it non-stick, creating a mark which is less non stick than the rest of the pan. And trying to remove this scored mark can result in scratching the "rock" hard surface. Don't get me wrong, I love these pans, bought 2 more. But they aren't as durable as rock.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Twisted ood Morning: I bought the Heritage set 2 months at Canadian Tire in Canada. I keep in the box and then I sent to Colombia, because I was moving here. I start using them in July and the 10” fry Pan is distorted or twisted, I never used hot heat, I followed the instructions. Obviously the lid does not fit. The small lid borders are yellow now, ( 1” qt saucepan) I am very disappointment because I made a lot research before I buy the pot set, in order to get a good quality product. Also I bought in Costco the two sides griddle for the stove, it is totally full of yellow spots I really appreciate your help in this matters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built to last! We bought this set a few months ago, as my husband is notorious for burning food to the pans. Have not had anything stick or burn to this set! Love it! Worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best pan ever! I had my "The Rock" pan for over a year now and I have used it every day to make fried fish to chill pepper sauce and every time foods come out nice and never stick to the pan. Even cooking eggs sunny sided up is very easy with the rock as the egg does not stick. I use to have regular pans that when you had to cook you ended up fighting with the food to cook it just right and then it would stick. This changed when I got my first Rock after my friend told me what successes he had with his pan. I love it and I recently bought two new Rock products, a deep fry pan and small pan. I would recommend the Rock to any one I know and to anyone that would ask me about my Rock pans that I have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Quality I bought The Rock 10" frying pan because it was 70% off, thinking it was being discontinued. I liked the fact that it had deep sides and I wanted to use it for more than just frying foods. When I got it home I realized I wanted more so I immediately went out and bought the entire set. The "Rock" coating was easy to clean and nothing, I mean nothing stuck to it. The weight of the product is misleading. The pans are of high quality but not so heavy that they become cumbersome on my stove. I love making one meal dishes and I know can leave the pan on the stove to simmer all day because the heat is distributed evenly. I've had my set (and I have added additional pieces) for awhile and they still look brand new. Every time I go to wash one of these pans, I tell my husband, "I love these frying pans!"

What do I do when only after a month or so, my Rock frying pan has already starting losing its coating. I use the correct utensils in it, silicone, and wash it properly.

Is it PTFE free? You failed to mention that in the last question.

Asked by: Becca123

Is this pan free of PTFE/FPOA/PFOS? How the non-stick is achieved? Is the food exposed to aluminum? Is there a temperature limit for cooking on stove?

Asked by: Zol49
Good day, Rock coating contains no PFOA, PFAS, lead, cadmium, or nickel and is approved by the FDA and is completely safe. This coating is manufactured by a very well-known and reliable company called Whitford. Food is not exposed to aluminum. The ideal temperature to cook with The Rock coating is low to medium setting, as it is designed to cook evenly and contain the heat throughout. However, bringing water to a boil on maximum is fine, it is preferable to turn down to medium once it is boiling. Can metal spatulas be used with this pan?

Asked by: bdeche
Good Day, As per your question, yes, a metal spatula can be used as long as you do not scrape the bottom as not to damage the nonstick coating.

I recently purchased the 10 inch Heritage Rock frying pan. Your instructions say the handle is good up to 450 degrees in the oven yet in the reviews a customer service representative says only put the pan in the oven max 350 degrees, which is preferred?

Asked by: Dottie 60
Good Day, All of our Rock pans that have a stainless steel handle can go in the oven up to 450 degrees. The pans that have a black Bake-Lite handle can go in the oven up to 350 degrees. Also, all lids can go in the oven only up to 350 degrees.

How do I see the price of the item. How do you order

Asked by: Dee89
Good day, You have to be sure that you are on the right website. If you are in Canada, look at the top right hand corner to be sure you are in English Canada because if you are on the US website you will not see the prices and vice versa. Also, the prices will not show if it says in store only or not available at that time. You can then add this item to the cart above.
