Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Rock Waffle Maker We've only used once so far, Christmas gift, maybe we were too impatient? But tried different cooking times and temperatures and could not get crisp waffles. They got more golden but texture did not change. If you do not like crispy waffles, its great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not sure yet. Have only used it once and had an issue with the teflon plates falling off the frame. It appears to be an issue with the 2 pieces of metal that holds the plates on, I simply bentt them upward and it appears to be holding. will try again in a week or so.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and easy to use Makes nice waffles, and the removable cooking plates make clean up easy. Only thing that could be better is a useful timer...It has a green light/red light function with a slider, but I have to use my own timer to ensure consistent results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from average waffle maker purchased this waffle maker (a few days ago, today was the inaugural use) to replace a really old fantastic 60's built waffle maker(maybe older). style is similiar, results are not. too long to heat up, too long to cook,

I would like to know what is the quantity of waffle batter that we should use. Thank you

Asked by: crazeelady
Hello, Make sure the batter covers completely the cavities and you will get great results. We did not measure exactly the quantity of batter needed. Thank you!

What is on the cooking surface of the Heritage The Rock electric griddles and waffle makers? What is the non stick surface made of and what is the process used to make this type of non stick surface? What is the metal used? Aluminum?

Asked by: DavidJR
Hello, It's made of cast aluminum and has a non-stick surface treatment like all non-stick The Rock cookware - plus a non-stick coating. For more information on our The Rock surface treatment: For our The Rock cookware info: Have a nice day!
