What is on the cooking surface of the Heritage The Rock electric griddles and waffle makers? What is the non stick surface made of and what is the process used to make this type of non stick surface? What is the metal used? Aluminum?

Asked by: DavidJR
Hello, It's made of cast aluminum and has a non-stick surface treatment like all non-stick The Rock cookware - plus a non-stick coating. For more information on our The Rock surface treatment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=787y9BX041g. For our The Rock cookware info: https://www.starfrit.com/en/lp-the-rock. Have a nice day!
