Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Waffle Maker Ever! I received this as a Christmas present from my husband after hearing from friends how well this worked. Christmas morning we enjoyed waffles that were light and fluffy! The cooking surface heats evenly and incredibly fast. The waffles themselves were picture perfect. The iron is very simple to use, not a bunch of extras that some irons offer that are essentially useless. This waffle maker is an absolute joy to clean, and that means we can actually enjoy making waffles more frequently. Fantastic piece of equipment for any kitchen. Thank you so much for making such a great product Starfrit!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Rock Waffle Maker We've only used once so far, Christmas gift, maybe we were too impatient? But tried different cooking times and temperatures and could not get crisp waffles. They got more golden but texture did not change. If you do not like crispy waffles, its great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size! I got this waffle iron because my husband kept raving about my mom's waffles that we don't get to eat regularly since she lives an hour away from us. It's the perfect size, like all waffle makers there are the standard little square irons that leave the signature look but it makes 4 waffles in one go which is perfect since I can start handing out food to my family while it's hot! It's easy to use, easy to clean with the removable plates that have a nice speckled effect which reminds me of camping. Excellent kitchen tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the removable plates I bought this waffle maker because of the removable plates. They can be properly cleaned and rinsed. I found it took a little longer than my previous walls maker to cook the waffles, but they are a little thicker, so it would take longer. It would be nice if there was an indicator of when they were done, but the instructions just say wait until there is no more steam. I need to be constantly watching for each batch to cook. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Appliance - exactly what I wanted Have had it less than a week and already have made several varieties of waffles. Cooked to perfection every time and absolutely no sticking. Easy to clean, stores away vertically so it doesn't take up any more space in my cupboard. My only negative comments: it takes a while to cook a batch, but that is probably me using too low a setting. It could use a timer (maybe) and the lights should go off when it is turned off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Waffle Maker, with a tweak Got this waffle iron for Christmas and love how easy it is to clean. Our waffles did not come out with the crisp we enjoy in a waffle but found if I flip the waffle after the steam disappears we get that crispy outside we like. After I figured that out the whole fam loved these but now I’m forced to make them more often, which I not mad about but don’t tell them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not sure yet. Have only used it once and had an issue with the teflon plates falling off the frame. It appears to be an issue with the 2 pieces of metal that holds the plates on, I simply bentt them upward and it appears to be holding. will try again in a week or so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Quality I always wanted a waffle maker like the hotels have and now I do ! The deeper dish makes for some excellent looking waffles. To make it even better it’s easy to clean because you can remove the waffle press portion to access the behind heating element.

Why does it take so long to make a waffle - 10 minutes. Is there something we should be doing differently. Wondering if it would help if we filled it more.
