a must have in your kitchen!!
I recieved this for my birthday and couldnt live without it now haha. doesnt leave a bunch of water in your salad, and you dont feel like you are going to breaka a rist when turning it. love this product and would recommend it !!

Collapsible salad spinner
This collapsible salad spinner looked interesting because it saved space. However after storing lettuce in it in the fridge it has developed dark mold on the silicone that is impossible to remove even with bleach. Yuck!

I guess my spinner is an older one. Is there a replacement lid with the pull string spinner. Or would the newer lid fit and is it sold separately?

noticing that there are black marks on the green silicon sections, both on the spinner & the bowl. Always hand washed the spinner, let air dry and have never collapsed it. What is causing this? How can the black be removed?
