Rated 5 out of 5 by Sharmik from Excellent Bread! I have owned several bread makes over the years, and this is by far the best bread we have ever made. The shape and size makes it perfect for storing or countertop. The nut/fruit container is a big plus as well. I have used the recipes that come with the bread maker and they are wonderful. The only negative thing I can say is that the measuring devices that come with it are difficult to read. They are just transparent markes cut into a transparent cup. The marks need to be made darker. I have yet to try making a recipe other than the ones that came with it but will be trying that soon. I also cannot rate the duraility as it is fairly new in our home. It is also one of the quietest makers we have had.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Melandre from New Bread Machine on the block! Our old bread machine broke so while looking around for a replacement, we came across this Starfrit newcomer in the bread maker line-up of products. It had all the features we are looking for, and the price was right, so we decided to take the plunge and try the Starfrit bread machine. We have only owned it for a short period of time but so far we are impressed with the product. Looks like we'll be able to make a wide array of yummy breads! We gave 4 stars instead of 5 simply because, of course, we are unable to comment on the durability of the bread machine but if, in a couple of years, it stills perform flawlessly, I'd be glad to review my current rating and add a fifth star!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rob B from Great product, a couple ofctips 1 this product ‘walks’ across the counter so beware. I lost one because it fell off. 2 I put the bread maker in for 10 mins(see initial start-up. Then as soon as that is done I put the ingredients in the bowl, in the bread maker so it warms the ingredients. The 700g loaf reaches the top of the pan and is light and fluffy. If I don’t preheat it looses about 3” and is fairly solid. I did not receive any incentive for this review, but I am open to any....

Rated 5 out of 5 by Allen70 from Works well. Will even bake a one pound loaf. The first loaf I made came out a little dense. But it could of been from using old yeast. I used 2 teaspoons of yeast instead of the one that was in the recipe, and the loaf came out perfect. I found a recipe book from an old bread machine I owned 15 years ago that made one loaf. I tried it in this machine, It was a very nice loaf of bread. If you don't have a recipe for a one pound loaf you can always cut the 900g loaf recipe in half, just make sure you use enough yeast. I used 1 1/2 tsp of yeast for a one pound loaf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Klaus22 from Great machine for a great price! This is my third bread machine and I use it only for the dough cycle and do the rest manually. My previous machine was wearing our and had a number of very annoying design features. I looked on the internet and found this very highly rated machine at a terrific price. It's great for what I want it to do, so much better than the previous one which cost considerably more!

Rated 3 out of 5 by HandyAndy from Price was good. I bought this because my current one was wearing out and it was hard to get parts for. This one was priced right but very cheaply made, no parts to repair just throw away. Is also sound like it really strains when kneadi g the dough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thelma01 from Bread Maker I tried my first bread but not too successful. The second time it came out better than a store bought gluten free bread. Very pleased with my decision and choice of brand. So easy to use. PS. It toasted very well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cooking Girl from fantastic machine I got this bread machine for Christmas and I have to say that it is awesome. Its like a persision machine that makes and bakes wonderful loaves of bread. There are recipes included to try, and you can add berries or seeds and nuts to it because it has a special feature build in to do that. I find that it runs smoothly and make soft inside and crunchy outside breads, or what ever you choose. There are also different types of bread, and cakes, it is an awesome bread maker

In the Jam setting (program 10), is there supposed to be a mixing (kneading) cycle or do I have to mix the ingredients manually before putting them in the bread maker. Should I remove the kneading blade? Or should I use a kneading cycle (program 11) befor
Good day, The person must at first mash the mixture she wants to make. Thereafter, she incorporates the ingredients inside the machine, chooses the jam function, it will heat up for the first 15 minutes, and then the machine will start to mix the ingredients. The mixing in the machine will do this throughout the process, and we would have to keep the blade for mixing. If you require further help, please contact our customer service. Thank you and have a nice day.

Starfrit bread maker if you aren’t using the nut/raisin dispenser, should it still sit on top. Other wise there is a gap and what happens to the baking of the bread .
Good day, Thank you for contacting us. Even if the fruit dispenser is having it's own door (to let the nuts get into the baking pan) We would prefer you to keep the nut dispenser on even when not needed for your recipe. That way it will prevent any heat to be escaping. Thank you and have a good day

Do you have English version. We do not use metric in the USA. 590g 6 g 900 g 200 ml 20 c 25 c what does that mean? I got this for myself months ago. Now I need to use it and can’t. Really disappointed you sold this with uncomprehendable instructions
Good day, We are sorry, the only English version we have is this one https://www.starfrit.com/media/data/0247070010000/instrbooklet--User-manual-0247070010000-en.pdf. We hope this will help. Have a good day!

Hi, does the Starfrit work for sour dough bread? If so, which settings should I use?
Good day, One of the specificities of this type of bread is the fact that it takes about 6 hours to stand, that it will produce a lot of bubbles and that it will double in size. There are recipes that are exclusively sour dough bread for bread makers, but when it comes to our machine, we've decided to go with the most popular and easy-to-make recipes for customers. If you would like to experiment with a recipe, you must make sure that the recipe does not exceed 900g and that this recipe can be used with a bread machine. Thank you.

Is it possible to use the bread maker to mix the dough and then separate the dough into two loaves, freeze one and bake the other?
Good Day, As per your e-mail, we will need to ask you a few questions about how you are going to bake these 2 loaves of bread. Please contact customer service AT 1-800-361-6232 and a customer service agent will contact you.

What setting should I use when making cornbread? It is the sweet version.
Good Day, We did several bread tests, and we also put the most popular recipes in our instruction manual. There are over a hundred bread recipes, so some recipes may not have been tested. As for Cornbread, it looks more like a cake than a loaf of bread. We would suggest putting it on the cake setting.
