Rated 1 out of 5 by Dietitian from Inaccurate I was excited to get this scale as it is slick and affordable. I work as a dietitian with type I diabetics and I was excepting this to be very useful. The actual scale is nice, but unfortunately, I tried measuring various types of foods such as apples, pineapples, strawberries, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and more and the nutritional information was false. For example, the apple of 141 g would have 0g of carbs, 0g, of fiber and about 40g of both protein and fat. The almonds had only 2 grams of fat and 25g of carbohydrate, which is obviously false. I used the correct codes for all, but I believe that the data for the codes are wrong (but how to confirm?). I am also unsure about the carbohydrate button with the BE mention? Very little explanation for it. Anyways, I will be returning it not recommending it to my clients. It could lead to very inaccurate carbohydrate counting, therefore hypo or hyperglycemia.

Rated 1 out of 5 by lizyg from Stopped being accurate, cannot calibrate it I was eager to try this after a recommendation but I began questioning the weight. I had a scale that measures to .01gm but cannot go over 400gm so I did a comparison. The scale is out 6gm in the first 100 and gets higher as the weight does. The point of scales are to measure and with no ability to calibrate, it's worthless and sadly a waste of my money. Changing to fresh batteries twice as recommended as an answer to the same question didn't resolve this issue. Very disappointed.

If we can't calibrate the scale, it isn't accurate. Why on earth did you leave out that function? The whole point is to be accurate. Yes I changed the batteries.. twice. Compared it to 2 other scales...
Good day, I am unsure of the calibrating meaning in this question, as you do have the "zero" option that works like TARE. If you are having problem using the scale you may refer to your user guide or please contact the customer service in the below link for further assistance. https://www.starfrit.com/en/contact-us Thank you and have a good day.

I want to calibrate the scale, how do i do this?
Good Day, Unfortunately none of our electric kitchen scales can be recalibrated. You might want to change the battery, that could help.

I ask again, how do I change the temp from Celsius to Fahrenheit? The instructions you referred me to only changes the weigh mode, no mention of temp.
Good day, We are truly sorry for the confusion. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. This scale works only with Celsius. Thank you
